Ned
is an innovative communicator whose writing, editing and publishing
accomplishments span the information spectrum – corporate Internet
and intranet sites, external and internal communications, public
relations and national consumer magazines.
At
Citizens Communications,
he transformed what was a stagnant, static, colorless and
nameless Intranet site into a lively, timely and credible work tool
with a vibrant personality that became the company's internal
information lifeline. He also revitalized the company’s Internet
site to make it a key component of Citizens’ investor relations
initiatives. More recently, Ned played a lead role in developing
recruiting Web sites that helped make McKinsey & Company a
winner in the war for talent.
Previously,
in his role as senior writer in the Office of the Chairman at KPMG,
he wrote speeches, executive briefings and byline articles for the
chairman and other key leaders and played a leadership role in
developing change management communications during the firm’s
restructuring. An early believer in the power of electronic-based
internal communications, Ned also created InfoTrack,
a weekly employee e-mail newsletter.
Earlier
in his career, Ned created and implemented public relations
campaigns for a number of leading national and international
clients. Ned began his
career as an editor for national magazines.
